The student will also know the principles of communicology, physics and acoustic phonetics, vocology and deglutology.
Course syllabus and organization

Single session

Responsible
Vocology, Swallowing, Articulation Disorders and Communicology lessons will be carried out remotely on Microsoft Teams in mixed mode, both synchronous and asynchronous (slide with audio commentary by the professor).
As regard for General Logopedics, Speech Theory and Augmentative and Alternative Communication, the lessons will be carried out in presence, in small groups, in conformity with the University's indications regarding social distancing. In any case, students will be able to access the lessons and teaching materials even remotely.

The program and the reference material will not be changed.

The exam will be through written test according to the modalities reported in the above-dedicated section. According to the Rector's Decree of July 31, 2020, the written exams will take place in the presence, in conformity with the safety regulations in force; for international students, students living outside the region as well as students with serious pathologies, it will be guaranteed the possibility to take the exam remotely, even on a different date.
Prerequisites for admission

Assessment methods and Criteria
The assessment of the acquired knowledge and the ability to apply it will be
through written test in different ways: open questions with short answers, closed questions with multiple choice, true / false, associations . The expected duration of the test will be 150 minutes. To access the exam, students must present in advance to the President of the course the narrow band sonogram of a sustained /a/ and the its perturbation analysis, their name and surname with relative indication of the phonemes with IPA symbols.
The assessment criteria are the ability to list and organize the knowledge acquired as well as their application for the resolution of short questions.
The grade will be expressed in thirties and will be the result obtained by the weighted average of the five course. A pre-appeal is scheduled in the winter session (February) for the two modules carried out in the first semester. The pre-appeal marks will contribute to the weighted average of the final evaluation. The results of the pre-appeal and the final test (individual modules and overall assessment) will be communicated to the students by email and / or published on the Ariel Portal, together with the electronic report
