The mission of the Master's Degree in Management of Healthcare Organizations and Health Sector is to train graduates with theoretical and technical knowledge on the management of the organizations of the health sector, allowing them to apply these logics and tools in the real world.

The master's degree will leave appropriate skills according to the expectations of the labor market, considering the main employment opportunities:
· For public and private health and socio-health companies, knowledge will be oriented towards value creation tools, improvement of efficiency and effectiveness of performances, analysis of organizational processes, understanding of the main corporate functions (management operational, organizational development, budget, planning and control, etc.);
· For companies in the health sector (pharmaceutical / biomedical companies, health insurance), knowledge will be oriented towards value creation tools, marketing logic and tools, market access and stakeholder management, analysis of health systems, knowledge of regional and national health system, to the logic of HTA;
· For consultancy firm, skills will be based on the dynamics and developments of the health sector and consulting skills, project management, design and implementation of organizational and institutional changes.;
· For agencies and regulatory institutions, skills will bring to manager the dynamics and developments of the health sector, the operation of public health companies and their decision-making and governance processes, health economics and HTA projects, policy processes -making under the technical and regulatory aspects, the stakeholder management / involvement processes.
The MASS degree course is aimed at those who want to become:
· specialist in the management of public and private healthcare and socio-healthcare companies within various corporate functions and managers of the programming agencies and regulatory institutions of the healthcare system;
· managers of companies operating in the health sector (pharmaceutical / biomedical companies, health insurance) and in consultancy firm.

Possono accedere al Corso di Studi MASS, i laureati con il titolo di studio rilasciato in Italia nelle seguenti classi (o titolo di studio equivalente conseguito all'estero e riconosciuto idoneo):

E' prevista una verifica dei requisiti minimi di accesso nella misura di almeno 30 CFU nell'ambito delle:
a) Scienze Aziendali SECS-P/07, SECS-P/08, SECS-P/09, SECS-P/10, SECS-P/11
b) Scienze Economiche SECS-P/01, SECS-P/02, SECS-P/03, SECS-P/06, SECS-P/12
c) Scienze Matematico-Statistiche SECS-S/01, SECS-S/03
d) Scienze Giuridiche IUS/04, IUS/17, IUS/07 di cui:
- almeno 18 CFU nell'ambito a) e b)
- almeno 6 CFU nell'ambito c)

È requisito di ingresso una conoscenza della lingua inglese pari o superiore al livello B1 del Quadro Comune Europeo di Riferimento per le lingue (QCER). Il livello B1 è verificato dal Centro Linguistico d'Ateneo SLAM durante la fase di ammissione nei seguenti modi:
- certificazione linguistica conseguita non oltre i 3 anni, di livello B1 o superiore (per la lista delle certificazioni linguistiche riconosciute dall'Ateneo si rimanda al sito: https://www.unimi.it/it/studiare/competenze-linguistiche/placement-test…). La certificazione deve essere caricata durante la procedura di ammissione;
- livello di inglese conseguito durante un corso di laurea triennale attraverso il percorso SLAM. Sono ritenuti validi gli accertamenti conseguiti da meno di quattro anni. La verifica avviene d'ufficio senza alcuna necessità di allegare attestati;
- test di ingresso, erogato da SLAM, che si svolgerà il giorno 15 settembre 2020 alle ore 9:30 per gli studenti laureati (Aula informatica SLAM - via Santa Sofia, 11) e il giorno 10 dicembre 2020 alle ore 9.30 esclusivamente per gli studenti che alla data di settembre non siano laureati (Aula informatica SLAM - via Santa Sofia, 11). Tutti coloro che non inviano una certificazione valida né risultino con livello valido sono convocati al test tramite la procedura di ammissione.
In caso di non superamento del test di ingresso, il candidato non è ammesso al corso di laurea magistrale e non può accedere ad ulteriori test.

La lingua italiana è una prerogativa del Corso di Studi per rispondere alle esigenze del mercato del lavoro del contesto del SSR italiano, pur la laurea caratterizzandosi per diversi contenuti internazionali, quali quelli di global health e per la possibilità di attivazione stage internazionali.

Per gli studenti con titolo di studio straniero e' prevista una verifica individuale del curriculum atta ad accertare che siano soddisfatti requisiti sostanziali equivalenti ai requisiti minimi per gli studenti con titolo italiano.

La verifica della adeguata preparazione personale degli studenti avverra' tramite:
1. analisi del curriculum formativo e accademico valutato sulla media degli esami sostenuti,
2. ove ritenuto opportuno, eventuale colloquio svolto in via telematica o di persona.

Verrà costituita una apposita "Commissione di Selezione" di docenti selezionati nella faculty del Corso di Studi e nominata dal Collegio Didattico.

Inoltre, saranno previsti interventi per favorire l'integrazione di studenti provenienti da diverse classi di laurea di primo livello e da diversi Atenei, come ad es. l'erogazione di crash courses (pre-corsi).
Il corso di laurea magistrale si riserva altresì di valutare l'eventuale inserimento di un numero programmato, determinato di anno in anno dagli organi accademici competenti, previa valutazione delle risorse strutturali, strumentali e di personale disponibili per il funzionamento dello stesso.
Nel periodo in cui si potrà fare domanda al Corso di Studi verrà inoltre attivato un percorso di orientamento - attraverso presentazioni open del Corso di Studi e una specifica linea diretta per poter porre quesiti e chiarimenti alla Direzione del Corso di Studi per i potenziali studenti di modo da garantire la possibilità di approfondire e fugare ogni dubbio riguardo la scelta.

The master's degree course MASS offers the opportunity to carry out study periods at numerous European universities, where students can follow cycles of lessons and obtain valid credits for the achievement of their qualification.
Our international partners are selected from the most prestigious academic institutions in Spain (Universidad Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, Universitat de Barcelona, University of Santiago de Compostela, Universidad Pùblica de Navarra in Pamplona, University of Oviedo, University of Salamanca, Complutense University of Madrid , University of La Coruña), France (Université du Droit et de la Santé de Lille), Portugal (University of Coimbra). The choice of courses is made before departure together with the Erasmus coordinator, and the credits obtained are officially recognized at the end of the exchange period and included in the study plan.

The tuition fees for students enrolled in Bachelor's, Master's and single-cycle degree programmes are divided into two instalments with different calculation methods and payment schedules:

  • The amount of the first instalment is the same for all students
  • The amount of the second instalment varies according to the ISEE University value, the degree programme and the student status (on track / off track for one year or off track for more than a year) 
  • An additional fee is due for online programmes

The University also offers:

  • Concessions for students meeting high merit requirements
  • Diversified tuition fees according to the student's home country for international students with assets/income abroad
