The Great Hall (Aula Magna) is located in the historic Ca' Granda building.

Via Festa del Perdono 7 - Ground floor, 626 seats, 412 in the stalls and 214 in the gallery, disabled access.

Available for: conferences / congresses, concerts, film screenings, theatre performances.

Stage: proscenium width 16.50 m, rear width 12.50 m, depth 6.80 m.

Speaker positions

  • Retractable table: max 9 people, 2 podiums
  • 5 table-top microphones, 3 wireless handheld microphones, 1 lavalier/boom microphone
  • 3 local monitors
  • 3 PC VGA or HDMI connections, internet cable network
  • 2 podiums with microphone and video screen and VGA or HDMI connection.

Technical equipment and direction

  • PCs for projection of multimedia content, including one with remote control
  • 16:9 (1920x1080) native format projection with pair of projectors, 3 x 5.5 mt. screens, or central projector, 5 x 9 mt. screen
  • 4 cameras for HD television recording, with technical direction and high-quality file recording
  • audio file recording
  • 4-point videoconferencing
  • free WiFi network on request
  • Translation booth set-up, technical area for audio-video direction at the back of the room, stage lighting truss
  • Signal transmission to room 201.
